Located in the wonderful teeny-tiny town of Cassville, nestled in the hills of southern central Pa sits our welcoming home. There are only three of us... my husband, Jon, our 5 year old son, and myself, Casey. We live in an old farmhouse that started out as a log cabin almost two centuries ago, along with our two dogs, two fish, and nine chickens! {We used to have a duck too, but as my son likes to say "She flew the coop"!}
We are country folk and enjoy the simplicity of country life. Although it has taken some time, my husband has come to love our country life. Being born in a country *village*, I grew up crafting, sewing, gardening, canning, and loving the outdoors. I have been making crafts for over 20 years. Along the way, I have done a little bit of this and a little of that and I've found that my favorite crafts are the country / primitive home decor and natural jewelry. Jon's favorite hobby is woodworking. And we both recently started soy candle making!
There's nothing better than a sunny day filled with a country breeze, birds singing, and the delicious aroma of home-baked goodies. That's what you'll find with our candles and wax items...the delicious smell of fresh baked goods, naturally ripened fruits, and other 'country' aromas. While we do use other scents, our candles and wax items tend to revolve around the natural scents.Our home decor almost always has country roots also. It looks great in rustic cabins, farmhouses, or just a simple country style home. Whatever your country style, primitive, rustic, or country chic, we have something for you. And if we don't have it here, we have the connections to get it for you! That's part of what being country is all about...family. Our family is a long line of crafters. Everything offered here is always hand crafted unless we specifically state otherwise. In order to provide you a wide variety, we are pleased to offer items crafted by our extended family members and other fixins. At the end of each item's description, I will add who made the item .
